My computer is a Dual Core 2.5 ghz G5 Mac Pro with 3 gig of RAM. The information is not wrong, and a $600 Mac mini would be faster than what you have now, an iMac even more so.
So don't be ticked off you're using a CS version from November 2003! One thing that puzzles me, why are you using 10.5.7 and CS1 and complaining about wanting to use the latest software just up-date to 10.5.8 and CS4 and as long as your machine is OK for your use you should be OK for a couple of more years, by which time the old G5 will have done well and time to upgrade.

I am running Photoshop CS1 and was really looking forward to finally upgrading to a new version of Photoshop. This system is more than powerful enough to handle extremely large files (1-2 gigabytes). I have a dual core 2.5 GHZ G5 with OSX 10.5.7 and 3 gig of RAM. Apparently thats the case, and ticks me off something fierce.
